Celebrating everyday life

embracing all seasons

The Wink Movement grew out of a long journey of walking alongside people as they journey through life. Our founder began working in the field of human development in 2002, helping individuals and teams thrive in the workplace. Over time it became clear that true growth is not only about professional success, but about the deeper formation of character, faith, and purpose. In 2010 this passion led to the creation of doro-ella, where development programs for organisations opened the door to deeper conversations about meaning, resilience, and how people live out their values in everyday life. The Wink Movement grew from this same desire, to create gentle, guided spaces where people can reflect, grow spiritually, and walk together toward a more intentional life. Our approach blends practical experience with a background in public practical theology, bringing together faith, ethics, and everyday life. We believe growth is not about perfection, but about developing good habits and continuing the journey, with grace, honesty, and encouragement from others. Our founder loves research and she is currently busy with her PhD exploring the role of the church in cultivating spiritual- and religious capital for social development.

What others had to say

You’re welcome to walk these journeys individually, taking time to reflect at your own pace, or share them with friends or a small group as a Bible study. Many find that the experience deepens when reflected on with others, yet each journey unfolds in its own time. Spiritual formation cannot be rushed, if a journey calls to you, you are warmly invited to join when the moment feels right.

I don't know why Adri made this part of Wink, it might have been a message from our Lord to do so, so thank you and well done! I truly enjoyed it and it makes one look at yourself, why are you living on earth, it is not about yourself, and it is not just about work. It is how you treat others, how you conduct yourself, how you lead as a leader, asking if you can get people to follow you, show people you care about them, make the world a better place, God Loves us all and that we must know, we can't work and succeed without Him being part of our daily lives, including work. Nice Job Adri!

From our hearts we can make decisions that brings life to our organizations and society. It has inspired me to apply God's principles anew in my place of work and with the people I work with.
